UNILAG 56th Convocation: Celebrating a First-Class Chemical Engineering Graduate of the Class of 2025

The University of Lagos has awarded degrees to 272 first- class graduates during its 56th Convocation Ceremonies for 2025. At the Convocation held Wednesday, the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. FOlashafe Ogundola, announced that 2,097 students graduated from the Faculties of Engineering, Law, and Management Sciences. According to the Vice-Chancellor, the Faculty of Engineering recorded 613 graduates, out of which 89 students earned dfirst-class degree honours, a remarkable feat that shows the spirit of competitiveness in the Faculty. Among these notable graduates is an exceptional scholar, known as Engr. Okoyechira Kenechukwu Blaise GMNSE,  who earned a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering.  This outstanding achievement reflects not only academic brilliance but also unwavering discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
