Gen. Marketing Manager, Seven-Up Excited About The Honor Given To Seven-Up Bottling Company In The MTB Award



One of Nigeria's most reputable awards in the marketing and communications sector is the MTB Awards. 

The MTB Awards held in Neca House, Alausa Ikeja Lagos. The theme for this years award is “Building Trusted Brand In Trust Deficit Society”.

Mr Segun Ogunleye, the General Marketing Manager, Seven-Up graced the occasion with his presence, representing  his Brand at this impactful event.

It is worthy of note that Seven-Up Bottling Company is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria. It produce and distribute soft drinks brands such as Pepsi, Mirinda, Seven Up, H2oh!, Mountain Dew and Aquafina bottled water. The company’s brands are popular and widely consumed across the country.


Mr Segun Ogunleye oversees the marketing activities of the company and helps boost its marketing efforts and actualize its corporate objectives.

He is known for his outstanding performance and dedication in the marketing industry.


The Managing Director of Seven-Up Bottling Company, was recognized for his work and services at the MTB awards. 

During Mr. Segun’s interview with the press, he mentioned how excited he was, that the MD, Chief Ziad Maalouf was honored and how excellent that is for Seven-Up. 

He said, “this shows the values the Seven-Up Bottling Brand.”                                                                       “The brand is a business about people, a business that understand what naija move well and efficiently, and the business is not about just profitablity but people's well being. The beautiful thing about this business that it's inheritably intertwined with Nigeria”. 

“For example, the first 7-Up rolled in during the 1960, the year Nigeria got independence”.

He continued, all the brands are connected to the passion point of Nigeria, using their brand Pepsi for youth development in which Pepsi football academies were created and supported. 

They also supported young people in the music point of view; pairing with some of the biggest music ambassadors in the country to continue drive Nigeria’s music passion point.

Seven-Up Brand instituted the Seven-Up Havard business school scholarship to create leaders as a ripple effect.

Even in communities in Enugu where schools are picked by the Seven-Up Brand where classrooms are built, the students are enabled, so on.

   Seven-Up Brand continues to look for ways on how to move Nigeria forward.

Mr Segun says that the biggest social responsibility they have done; The revision of sanitizer at a rock-bottom price when others brands could not. 

This shows that the people is the center of focus for Seven-Up Bottling Company.
