The theme of this year Program is “Launch out… towards Sustainability.
The AGM Conference this year focused on what they’ve done and couldn’t do, how they can jumpstart into next year plans of action and how it can be beneficial to the women and to those who wants to be part of AWEP.
The AGM Conference was a workshop for the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) where the right mindset for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Sustainability also Export of products and services is instilled in people.
A lot of colorful products made by Women entrepreneurs were displayed.
During the interview with the National President of AWEP, Nigeria, Ogundipe Oluyemisi, she mentioned how elated she was that they reached the vocal leader who will carry on and impact several other people.
She said, she was impressed by the turn-up; it was a full house, filled with both members and non, also Some Lagos Officials were present.
She mentioned that the PS of Wealth Creation graced the event with her humble presence.
The Representatives of The Ministry of Commerce and Trade was present, also NNPC and The Embassy of Sweden.
She said this were the brands AWEP partnered with to ensure our women are locally sustained; from local sustainability to Global market.
Ogundipe Oluyemisi advises Nigerian women to have the vision to see their products on the international market and focus on it.
“And if there’s any crisis, let us collaborate and make the situation better”, she said.
The African Woman’s Entrepreneurship Program is an association meant to pull in efforts from the government, from private sectors to to achieve solutions from crisis.
Ogundipe Oluyemisi ended the interview, expressing her gratitude to the partners and sponsors that assisted them this year.
