OHANEZE BLASTS CHIEF SUNDAY UDEH FOR HIS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL UTTERANCE

The attention of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state has been drawn to the statement credited to one faceless, myopic, self imposed, self styled, relevance seeking and inconsequential fellow called SUNDAY UDEH who parades himself as the factional leader of Igbo speaking community(whatsoever that means) in Lagos State.

According to PMNEWS, The factional leader of Igbo speaking community Sunday Udeh has “cancelled all the traditional rulers aka Ezendigbo crowned by Ohanaeze Ndigbo and warned them not to parade themselves as Igbo leaders in their various local councils across Lagos State.”

PMNEWS stated that the statement was made during the inauguration of Eze C.C  Nwokedi as the first elected Igbo speaking chairman of council of Ndieze in Lagos.

PMNEWS also quoted Sunday Udeh thus"any person crowned  Ezendigbo  by Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State is null and void and should be disregarded by the Igbos and  members of the public".

It  is not our considered intention to join issues with the rabble rouser,self seeking Sunday Udeh but we are doing this to save the undiscerning members of the public from digesting  concoction of rotten nonsense vomited by the so called irrelevant Sunday Udeh.

It is worthy to note that Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was the first to be crowned Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu.

Where was the so called Igbo speaking community when Ohanaeze was formed in 1976 as a replacement for Igbo union formed in 1923.

It is embarrassing, saddening, unfortunate and unacceptable that instead of the so-called Sunday Udeh  to ask questions due to his ignorance regarding the installation of Ezendigbo in Lagos State,he decided to ridicule and embarrass himself by turning the truth on its head, dabbling into an issue he knows next to nothing about.

This is the time to  scrutinize the relevance and legitimacy of Igbo speaking comuminity with regards to Igbo union structure.

 Igbo speaking in Lagos State is a union being packaged and paraded by over ambitious and selfish individuals like Sunday udeh to duplicate Ohanaeze Ndigbo so as to assume the mouth piece of Ndigbo in order to be relevant and  make money for himself .

His sense of reasoning has been enveloped by his over ambitious and selfishness, hence he shot himself on the foot and sold  out as not a true son of Igbo and one who hate Igbo unity and progress with passion.

In every bad situation there are always a lesson to be learnt. Sunday udeh's evil utterance has drawn the consciousness  of Ndigbo at home and abroad  on the bad intentions Sunday udeh and his cohorts have on  the unity of Ndigbo.

He has bitten more than he can chew  by challenging the authority of Ohanaeze ndigbo, hence the time to question the legitimacy of the so called Igbo speaking comuminity and ban them from operating before they cause irreparable damage to Ohanaeze Ndigbo, just as they have done to Ezeship institution in Lagos state. 

Federal government do not recognize ethnic speaking comuminity unions but recognizes comuminity development  associations which is operated in the five South Eastern States and replicated in lagos state with their President generals.

None of the states is operating Igbo speaking comuminity that Sunday udeh  is championing in Lagos State.

Is Sunday Udeh trying to duplicate Ohanaeze Ndigbo or comuminity development association in Lagos State?

Maybe he has discovered the crisis in Ohanaeze and wants to take criminal and undue advantage of the messy situation in Ohanaeze by reinforcement of his hold on Ndieze for a total duplication of Ohanaeze ndigbo.

 I hereby advice  all Igbo sons and daughters who are members of Igbo speaking community to pull out and register with their community development associations which is operated by their  various states in Lagos State.

I am also advising Sunday udeh to stop arrogating to himself, the mouth piece of Ndigbo in Lagos State.

My advice also goes to all Ndiezes under Udeh to stop being deceived by Sunday Udeh and his Igbo speaking community and  help Igbos to unite and identify with their state comuminity development associations. 

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State therefore view the senseless, dirty blackmail and misrepresentation of  facts from Sunday Udeh as utterances coming from a confused and irrelevant fellow.

We urge all Umuigbo,Ndi Ezes and the general public to disregard the disrespectful and  unacceptable utterances from Sunday Udeh as he is not in the position to vomit the rubbish he vomited because every other Igbo association is under  Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

May the Igbos transfer the unity inherited from our forefathers to our future generations.
