UNILAG 56th Convocation: Celebrating a First-Class Chemical Engineering Graduate of the Class of 2025

The University of Lagos has awarded degrees to 272 first- class graduates during its 56th Convocation Ceremonies for 2025.

At the Convocation held Wednesday, the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. FOlashafe Ogundola, announced that 2,097 students graduated from the Faculties of Engineering, Law, and Management Sciences.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the Faculty of Engineering recorded 613 graduates, out of which 89 students earned dfirst-class degree honours, a remarkable feat that shows the spirit of competitiveness in the Faculty.

Among these notable graduates is an exceptional scholar, known as Engr. Okoyechira Kenechukwu Blaise GMNSE, who earned a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering. 


This outstanding achievement reflects not only academic brilliance but also unwavering discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

Chemical Engineering is widely regarded as one of the most demanding academic disciplines, requiring strong analytical skills, consistency, and resilience.
